A regression suite should shorten feedback loops, not block every deploy with false alarms.
Split suites by domain: smoke, core regression, and full nightly. Developers get smoke results in minutes; deeper coverage runs on a schedule.
Tests that depend on shared staging data fail randomly. Seed fixtures per run or use ephemeral environments so each build starts clean.
When a test fails, the report should name the component, last known good build, and suggested owner. Ambiguous "something broke" messages get ignored.
Allocate sprint capacity to update selectors and remove obsolete cases. A smaller, trusted suite beats a large, ignored one.
